What you're actually paying for.
Every report goes through the same workflow:
- Live PPSR query via PPSR Cloud against the AFSA register — we pay a per-search fee for every check, refundable only if the search itself fails.
- Live NEVDIS query via the Austroads-administered exchange — another per-search fee.
- Plain-English rendering — we translate the technical certificate into a buyer-friendly report so you don't need to decode AFSA's jargon yourself.
- PDF generation & permanent storage — your report stays accessible from your dashboard for 12 months, with email attachment delivered within 60 seconds.
- For Comprehensive only — we additionally pull ANCAP, ACCC recall, and Carsales valuation data, and overlay our depreciation forecast.
The price covers both the per-search government fees and the engineering needed to turn raw certificate data into something a private buyer can actually use. We charge per check, not by subscription, because most buyers only check 1–2 cars before purchase.
Pricing FAQ
- Is there a subscription option?
- No. We're built for private buyers checking one or two cars before a purchase decision. If you check more than ~10 vehicles per month (dealers, brokers), our bundle pricing gives a per-report discount.
- What payment methods are accepted?
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Apple Pay — processed by Stripe. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, and card details never touch our servers.
- Are there hidden fees or upsells at checkout?
- No. The price you see on this page is the price you pay. No 'priority delivery' fee, no per-state surcharge, no auto-renewal, no upsell modals. One charge, one report.
- What about refunds?
- Reports are non-refundable once generated because we incur a per-search fee from the government registers. However, if you mistyped the rego, were double-charged, or hit a technical error, email support@aussiecarcheck.com.au within 7 days — we'll always make it right.
- How does this compare to the government PPSR portal?
